Green Sea Chapter 2 - Caught By The Blue

He is now walking on a wide path which leads to the Great Green Gate. On both sides of the path there are gardens planted by people of the town. Most of these gardens are now infected and lifeless. Before the infection, these gardens are full of various flowers shaded by tall White Trees and lively with a lot of butterflies, bees, birds, rabbits, deer and many other animals. These gardens are sacred to the people. Manu has a great love of nature as his grandmother. This condition of the gardens is heartbreaking for him.

The path is made of stone tiles with stone fencing on both sides. There he found an entrance to the garden through the fencing. He entered to collect some infected leaves to take to Nemi. The garden is very similar to other infected areas just slime, fallen leaves, branches and dark mist. The mist is blocking sunlight, so the gardens are much darker than rest of the town. He took out a small, flat wooden box from his bag in which he put a couple leaves. He got out of the garden and continued his journey.

After a couple of minutes, he reached the Great Green Gate. It is said that the gate was built ages ago, considered as the main entrance to the Green Sea. The gate is made of dark stone, two carved pillars with a stone arch on top. The pillars are carved as White Tree's trunks with flower vines. He walked through the gate in amazement, even though he had seen the gate many times before, but never walked through it into the Green Sea.

The path is now much narrower as only two humans can walk. It is made up of stone, and grass grown in between as it is not used often. As he walked, the infected trees lessened and some animals could be seen. But these animals seemed gloomy.

Manu spent a lot of time in the gardens of White Meadow with his grandmother, playing with rabbits, fawns, squirrels, birds and many other animals, so grew very fond of animals and birds. Also, he can understand their emotions and behavior. Ila taught Manu to talk with some animals after seeing his love for them. Ila as a druid, can talk with almost every animal or bird but Manu is not now as good as her grandmother, also he does not know if he can be a druid or not.

After walking for some hours, now the trees and animals are much merrier and there is no sign of infection to be seen. It is now midday, the land is now raising a little bit. Also, he is getting hungry, so he found a shady tree. It is a Sacred Fig tree with branches spread wide, shading a large area. There he found a grassless and cleaner area with fine dust, there he sat and ate the food that he brought from home. After eating, he rested for about an hour and then started walking.

Now his pace is much slower as the land is raised. After walking for two hours, now he can see why the land is raising. There is a hill in his path. The sun is started to set. At the dusk, he is on the foot of the hill. He stopped there.

He started fire in a shady spot. The sky is clear and rain is not expected, So he set no camp, just made a bed with couple layers of dry leaves and grass. As he has been on camping manytimes, so he is not uncomfortable with sleeping on leaves. He ate the food he have and slept. The night been calm, he heard no unfriendly animal, as if he is blessed by nature.

The next day, he woke up with first light of morning. He packed the bag, buried the fire and started climbing the hill. After walking about half an hour, he heard a sound of water. He followed the sound while being careful that he would not lose the path. Just few footsteps away from the path, he found a waterfall and a pond.

The waterfall is small in height but beautiful to look at. The morning sun shining upon the falling water like golden jewels with diamonds. He smelled and tasted the water. It felt safe to drink. He put down the bag on a rock, bathed in the pond and prayed to god as his daily routine. He took the water to drink from the waterfall and ate the berries and some wild fruits he found nearby. He continued his journey after an hour.

The path of stone turned into stairs near the hill. The hill is not rocky but full of trees. He reached the hilltop after an hour from midday. He looked back to his town which looked enclosed in dark mist from all sides. That view turned his face cold but then he turned and looked to Nemi, which is merely like a spot with just a little bit of open land in a green sea of trees. But it gave him hope. He ate food and rested there in shade for some time and then started his way down.

About an hour before dusk, he reached the bottom. The forest is now much dense than before but the path is now flat. He is walking slowly now, cause his feet are weary. He is looking for a spot to spend the night, when he saw a strange thing. A blue squirrel running on a branch. He stopped to look at it, when he saw the squirrel fell from the tree.

He ran towards it, it's leg is injured. He took his hand towards it, the squirrel tried to run away but not able to do it. As Manu can talk to animals, he tries to calm it down. He said, "Calm Down, Buddy","I'm friend". The squirrel is surprised that this boy is able to talk with squirrels. It calmed down. Manu took out a vial of ointment and clean cloth from his bag. Quickly he treated it's wound and tied it.

Squirrel is feeling good now and said, "Thank You", which of course Manu understood. As it is about to speak more, both heard a noise. As Manu looked up, he found himself surrounded with a lot of blue squirrels with small bows in their hand, aiming at him.

My Excuse Of Leave

When the idioticity of a maniac, sounded in my ears & pierced through my mind; It induced a lot of pain, though, it is of a known kind. These people are ungrateful and insensitive, Who are living on pity of God; I can't understand why nature is bearing these, Who are a huge burden even after, being an empty pod. Maybe because they show us, that animals are better than humankind; God bestowed them best eyes, but still they are very blind. There mind filled with filth, there mouth filled with lies; There works full of malice, they like to live in disguise. They labor to pile up pelf till there last breath; They try to fool themselves until they come to death. Now I'm feeling very fortunate, that I like to be alone; Rather being with these people, who are dumber than their phone. But it is not the whole truth in real, that I like to be alone; I just like to have a true & kind & a lively friendzone. No-one is really alone in this world, always surrounded with life; From...

Green Sea Chapter 3 - Blue Dell

These squirrels are too odd by looks. They have well built bows and arrows, some have swords of metal, some of them wearing belts with pockets, while others wearing armor made of vines, which is neatly woven. Manu is amazed but also scared a bit. The wounded squirrels said, "Stop, He saved me, he is not enemy." Then the wounded squirrel explained, that it got attacked by a weasel, somehow escaped but got wounded, then the boy found it and treated the wound, also told other squirrels that he can talk with squirrels, which amazed other squirrels. One of those squirrels, who is well armored and looked like their leader said, "Sorry for our behaviour. We are blue squirrels of Blue Dell . Thanks for saving our friend. May I know, who are you and where you came from?" Manu told his name and said that he is from White Meadow and going to Nemi. The leader squirrel said, "We will be glad, if you will be our guest at Blue Dell for tonight." As Manu is looking for a ...
